We Are Kyoto Treasure Hunt
Based just outside Kyoto — Japan's cultural heart — we spend our days hunting through markets, temple flea sales, and private collections for pieces that deserve to be found.
Where We Come From
Japan holds centuries of craftsmanship that rarely makes it beyond its borders. Antiques passed down through generations. Vintage cameras built with obsessive precision. Artisan foods made by small producers who have been at it for decades.
We are based near Kyoto and source everything by hand — visiting markets, speaking directly with collectors, and choosing only what we believe is genuinely worth owning.
Every piece we offer is sourced with intention — chosen by hand or commissioned directly from the maker.
What We Believe
We don't sell replicas, reproductions, or mass-produced souvenirs. We sell real Japan — items with history, with craft, and with stories behind them.
For antiques with formal certification — such as pieces accompanied by an NBTHK certificate — we make that clearly visible on the product page. For everything else, we describe condition honestly and welcome questions before you buy.
